Respect for creative rights
DTPlay does not permit members to submit material they do not own or have permission to use. We review properly completed copyright notices, may restrict access while investigating, notify the uploader when appropriate, and maintain records of actions taken.
Before filing
Only a copyright owner or authorised representative should file a takedown notice. Consider whether the use is licensed, public domain, or legally permitted. False or misleading claims may have legal consequences.
Counter-notifications
An uploader who believes material was removed through mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice may be shared with the claimant. Restoration follows the legally applicable process and timing unless DTPlay receives notice of a court action.
Repeat infringement
DTPlay may suspend or terminate repeat infringers and accounts that repeatedly submit content without appropriate rights. We may also act against misuse of the reporting process.
This page provides a reporting process, not legal advice. For non-copyright concerns, use the general reporting form.
